The Village dance troupe has become famous throughout the world for its performances, notably thanks to Olivier Briac, the founder of the Village. He decided to promote the richness of Polynesian culture in Europe and all over the planet thanks to show tours. The most famous Polynesian dancer Jeanine Maru was the choreographer of the troupe, leading them throughout Europe (France, Scandinavia, Spain, Portugal, Germany, etc.), East Asia (Korea, China, Singapore, etc.) and Lebanon. The troupe was invited to perform in famous French TV shows, with renown French TV presenters such as Patrick Sébastien in his show « The World Greatest Cabaret ».
The troupe also performed during the 2010 World Expo in Shanghai where all countries of the world were represented.
